While WhatsApp doesn’t have a built-in message scheduling feature, you can use a browser extension to schedule messages on WhatsApp Web.

This solution might make your life easier if your job requires you to contact clients at set times or if you want to go off the grid for a while but need to send messages for birthdays, holidays, or other important events.

Here’s how you can schedule messages using the Blueticks extension…

1. Install Blueticks

Blueticks is a Chrome extension that will let you schedule messages on WhatsApp Web.

Here is how you can install it:

  1. Head to the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Search for Blueticks.
  3. Click Add to Chrome.

Custom recurrence

This option allows you to send messages recursively. All you have to do is tick the Custom recurrence box within the Schedule a message window.

Next, set the number of minutes, hours, days, months, or even years next to Repeat Every.

This is a great feature if you have clients or coworkers and you send them a specific message every week or month. Also, it’s a good way to stay productive while working from home as you don’t have to interrupt your work.

Cancel when a message is received

This feature cancels the message if the person scheduled to receive it contacts you first.

If you plan on sending a scheduled message, it might be better to turn it on as it helps you to avoid sounding like a robot while talking to friends or customers.

Set It and Forget It

If you like using WhatsApp on your computer, now you know how to schedule messages to your contacts by following the steps above.

You just need a free Google Chrome extension.
